The state with the least expensive premium is Delaware at $781 annually and goes all the way to Colorado at a whopping $3,383 per year!!
From the graph below you can see that the states that pay the most for Home Insurance are Colorado, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Kansas. Not pictured is Texas, which comes in fifth. According to valuepenguin.com, “homeowners in these five states spend 77% more per year on insurance premiums than the typical U.S resident.”
